Who are we
RENSHI MARCEL
Head teacher / Chairman
In 1992, Renshi Marcel started Shotokan Karate-do under the guidance of Charles Charpentier Sensei and Marc Boels Sensei.
After many years of training, he obtained his 1st Dan Shotokan Karate do in 1999.
In 2013 he obtained his 2nd dan Shotokan Karate Do.
In 2015 he obtained his 2nd dan Ryukyu Karate Jutsu.
In 2016 he obtained his 3rd dan Shotokan Karate Do.
In 2022 he obtained his 4th Dan Shotokan Karate Do.
In January 2025, Renshi Marcel was honored by IMAF Belgium with the title of Renshi. This for his years of dedication and commitment to Karate

WARREN SENSEI
Teacher Kids
Warren has been a constant presence in our club since day one. Together with Marcel Sensei he started at the club in 2011 as a 5-year-old boy full of energy.
That energy turned into passion and perseverance.
In July 2024, his dedication was rewarded when he earned his 1st Dan grade in Karate-Do.
CELINA SEMPAI
Secretary / Sempai
Célina has been a member of Ronin Dojo since 2017. She is mainly involved in the administration and communication of the non-profit organization. This includes both from and to members, as well as arrangements with third parties.
In addition to Renshi Marcel, she is involved in the daily management of the non-profit organization.
NICK SEMPAI
Sempai
Nick has been active in the club since 2016.
As a permanent member of the club, he often takes care of part of the training.
He often works with Warren Sensei on youth training.
